Standard Strutural Steel Design

All structural steel of hot-rolled shapes and built-up welded sections are designed in accordance with AISC's eighth edition "Specification for Design, Fabrication, and Erection of Structural Steel Buildings".

Cold-Formed Steel members are designed in accordance with AISI's latest edition of "Specifications for the Design of Cold-Formed stell Structural Members"

All Framing members are ship fabricated for bolted field assembly. Bolts meet the requirements of the following ASTM.
Standards Laters Issue:
A-325 Industry structural bolts and nuts.

Design Loads

Standard Live Loads and Wind Loads to cover 90% of most areas as requested in purchase order.

Primary Framing

Rigid frames are welded built-up "I" sections. Endwall frames are either cold-formed or built-up "I" sections depending on design requirements. Mainframe webs, base plates, splice plates. and flanges are shop fabricated to include holes for installation of bolts and slots for bracing
A-572 & A-36 Mod. Steel minimum yield point 50,000 PSI.

Secondary Framing

Purlins and girts are roll-formed "C" or "Z" sections having a stiffened flange. Diagonal bracing is used to transfer the longitudinal wind load to concrete slab. Primary and secondary framing members are coated with primer paint.

Roof Panels & Wall Coverings

Standard 26 gauge commercial Hi Rib with mastic sealant and siphon groove and purlin bearing leg.

Multi-Span Rigid Framing

Multi-Span with interior supports for wide buildings can save up to 47% on frame weights versus clear span structures, and are able to support structural configurations such as space-making mezzanines.

Clear Span Rigid Framing

The unobstructed clear span os excellent for auditoriums, gymnasiums, churches, riding arenas, or anywhere a clear open space is required. Steel rigid frames are more economical than any other type of construction for clear spanning.
